Greetings and thank you for visiting the award winning website of Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter (PVAC).
PVAC is proud to celebrate its 25th anniversary of compassionate service to the residents of Western Montgomery County, MD. Chartered in 1985 by our 18th Past National President Hortense Canady, our glorious chapter prides itself on 25 years of demonstrated excellence. Our chapter is home to over 134 Sorors actively engaged in working with the community to implement programs tailored to the needs of our Western Montgomery County residents. We faithfully reach out and collaborate with the community to identify and address areas of concern that align with our National Five-Point programmatic thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Service resounds as our mantra as we fulfill the mission of our beloved Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., "to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world." Honor for our traditions, devotion to our sisterhood, and commitment to service are evidenced in all that we do.
